Valpo Schools Foundation Grants provide funds to help teachers carry out innovative projects that help to promote student achievement and encourage lifelong learning experiences. The grants are designed to encourage teachers within the Valparaiso Community Schools to create special classroom programs that cannot be funded through the regular school budget. Teachers of Valparaiso Community Schools can apply for grants twice a year, once in the Spring, and again in the Fall. The grant application process is simple, and proposals in all curricular areas are encouraged to apply.
Deadline for the Fall grant application is October 31 at 4:00 p.m.
Deadline for the Spring grant application is April 30 at 4:00 p.m.

VHS seniors planning to continue their education at a two or four-year college or university, a vocational training school, or through a specialized skills-training program are encouraged to look at the scholarship opportunities available through the Valpo Schools Foundation. Scholarships are available to assist graduating Valparaiso High School seniors with costs associated with the first year of post-secondary education.
Thanks to a generous community supporting the mission of the Valpo Schools Foundation, we award many scholarships annually. In addition, we administer several endowed and privately-funded scholarships.
The VHS Student Services department will announce the scholarship application window. VHS seniors may access the scholarship listing and applications through their Naviance account during the 3rd quarter. All awards administered by Valpo Schools Foundation are included in the LOCAL SCHOLARSHIPS tab.
